Rendering a timely help

Helping-Others better

Simon of Cyrene was the man who helped Jesus carry the cross. In Exodus 17 Moses’ arms became so tired he could no longer hold them up. So Aaron and Hur found a stone for him to sit on. Then they stood on each side of Moses, holding up his hands. So his hands held steady until sunset

Why keep quiet if you need help? Or why look down on those who need help? Help is a 2-way approach. We receive help and we give help to others. The scripture encourages us not to say to our neighbour, “Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you” when you already have it with you”.

If God has empowered you to help, don’t delay it. The Lord directs people to us on purpose. So that when your time of need arises you may find help too. Remember God does not forget your acts of compassion.

Help someone this season. And may you receive timely help.

You’re lifted!
